Alan Ralph Osmond born June 22,1949 is the eldest of the performing Osmond Brothers. Alan was the leader of the group and had the responsibility at a very young age to make important decisions for the group. Alan is also a very fine musicain. He plays many intstriments and is a fine song writer. Alan has written many songs with his brothers, including Down By The Lazy River, The Plan, That's My Girl, Hold Her Tight, Crazy Horses and so many more. Not only does he write great songs but he sure could keep the girls screaming in the isles as well. Alan is married to beautiful woman named Suzanne. They were wed on July 16, 1974 and have 8 boys who are also in the business and doing very well I might add. They are known as Second G. They are Michael, Nathan, Douglas, David, Scott, Jon, Alex and Tyler. They are also the proud grandparents to two adorable little girls. Alan and Suzanne where touring with their boys who performed in the stage play version of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Alan also keeps very busy with Osmond.net the Families webpage.
