8. Alexander GODIN [scrapbook] (Onesime ) was born on 3 Jul 1932 in Sanford, Maine. He died on 21 Mar 2002 in Nashua, New Hampshire.

9. Therese GODIN [scrapbook] (Onesime ) was born on 19 Sep 1933 in Sanford, Maine.
BORN IN MAINE: Therese and Emile Berthiaume eloped in 1951. They had one child Joseph (Jerry) Berthiaume. They lived in Maine and after 10 years of marriage, divorced.
After her divorce from her 1st husband Emile Berthiaume, Therese seriously dated Ronald Laferriere. Problem was they were first cousins (he was the son of Adelord Laferriere and Victoria Duprey) and because she had already been married and already had one child, his family did not want them to marry. They split before the baby was born. Therese tried getting him back, but he had met someone new and married the other woman a few weeks after the baby was born. She gave the baby the last name of her first husband so the baby would have the same last name as her older brother and mother.
After about a year she found love again with Ismael Hernandez. They had one child together and because they were not married she gave her newborn son the last name of her fist husband (Berthiaume). Ismael later left for California stating he'd return but was never heard from again.
She married again in 1968 to Rene Michaud. They had two children one of which was a still born boy. Their second child was a girl they named Lisa. Rene could be a very sweet man but he also liked to drink. Six months after Lisa was born they separated.
She married Stanley Robidas on November 24, 1974 in Sanford Maine. They married in Therese's mother home (Mable Godin). They were married by the Justice of the peace. They married in order to move to Canada (with Robin and Lisa) where Stanley was from. He was hoping for a better life. While at the boarder with all of their belongings they were told that they didn't have all of the correct papers, so Canada wouldn't let them in. They were stuck with no place to go. Luckily they found an apartment in Norton Vermont 2 mins from the border where they lived for a year before getting everything they needed. They had no children together. Stanley had one grown son from a previous marriage. They are currently still married.
While living in Canada, Therese joined the choir at St. Jean Baptist Church in Sherbrooke Quebec. The choir sang every week in church. They also sang for the Christmas services and they also toured nursing home singing for the elderly. She also enjoys knitting, crocheting and working with plastic canvas. She also sews. She has sewn outfits for her grandchildren for their school plays.
Therese and Stanley moved back to the US in 2001.
Therese married (1) Emile Conrad BERTHIAUME [scrapbook] son of Irene BERTHIAUME. The marriage ended in divorce.Emile was born on 24 Apr 1930 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He died on 21 Aug 2000 in Hartford, CT.

Therese married (2) Ronald LAFERRIERE [scrapbook] son of Adelard LAFERRIERE and Victoria DUPREY. Ronald was born on 11 Sep 1938 in Eagle Lake Maine.

Therese gave Robin the last name of Berthiaume so she'd have the same name as her older brother. Robin added the last name Laferriere in the 80's.

Therese gave him her first husbands last name so he'd have the same last name.
Therese married (4) Rene Albert MICHAUD [scrapbook]. The marriage ended in divorce.Rene was born on 10 Apr 1922 in Madawaska Maine.
