I was told one story about her and that is, she had left her kitchen door open and a cat had wondered into the home. She found that it has done it's job under her bed. I was told that she took the cat outside and hung the poor thing from a tree!
Although she had done this, they say that she was a very sweet woman and loved her children and grandchildren.
